Authoring

All of Jenison’s elearning resources have been created in Perform: this means that if you have a licence for Perform and the resources we provide you can customise and localise the resources.

Examples of what this can actually mean to clients include:

  • Adding an introduction slide that relates to the organisation, outlining why the student is undertaking the resource and how it fits into their development plan,
  • Changing the 3 questions contained in the reflective notes features that are integral in the resources we provide so they are specific to the organisation and its goals,
  • Adding new slides into the resources that contain audio and/or video assets that are already used in the Learning & Development function but have never been part of an online resource
  • Adding new slides that ask questions and provide feedback to the student that specifically relate to the organisation.
  • Add a Conclusion slide to provide more information or resources to the student and signpost to them what they should undertake next/ who they should provide feedback to

Perform is  a powerful rapid content authoring system that enables you to quickly and effectively develop and deliver personalised courses for your learners.

It is designed to provide a simple route to creating resources for delivery to staff via a user-friendly template-based format.

After choosing your topic you can build a course structure by selecting the slide templates you wish to use. You then can add your text and images, develop your questions and feedback and if appropriate add audio, video and Flash elements.

To keep the resource engaging for the student you can add interactions and once you are happy the  learning outcomes have achieved you can publish your course.

You can then take the published resource and, because Perform has been designed to publish content that benefits from industry standard tracking, it can be seamlessly integrated into CheckPoint, Jenison’s LMS, or alternatively your existing third party LMS.

Who will benefit?

Perform’s easy to use interface and authoring tools are ideal for non-programmers who want to create their own management training material. The speed of creation and delivery appeals to trainers and managers who want to convert their existing material into an elearning format or create new media rich interactive courses to improve business performance. Also for those who want to create online assessments to validate the learning taking place on courses which may be delivered through a variety of methods, from face-to-face to elearnng.
