Pathways
Encourage behavioural changes via online management training.
Pathways is a portfolio of short learning and development1 courses designed to realise the full potential of middle and senior management: the portfolio was originally designed as a suite of resources for a high street brand to provide its senior management team with resources to more effectively undertake their roles.
The integral reflective notes feature ensures that users don’t just ‘page turn’ the courses but are encouraged to actively think about how the subject matter can be applied to their role. Staff are encouraged to contextualize and apply the learning to try and ensure their behaviour patterns change as a result of accessing the courses.
The courses are designed so users can exit before they complete the course, and when they return the reflective notepad feature comments they had inserted are retained; additionally, the courses are complemented by a series of 62 single slide Nudges to provide a library of quick reference material.
Strategic learning objectives that the Pathways portfolio have been used to achieve include:
- Enhancing leadership skills for the management team in the organisation,
- Enabling middle and senior managers to develop key change management practices that are applicable to the workplace,
- Helping managers to assess their strengths and weaknesses and consider the effects of their behaviour on other people,
- Learning key skills, tools and techniques for managing today’s business environment, and
- Ensuring your organisation’s success by inspiring a learning culture where managers develop confidence and capabilities.
