Perform is delivered with a number of simple built in Themes in a range of colours. Do Perform courses need any plugins to run in my browser?

No, Perform takes advantage of HTML 5 and JQUERY technologies to produce plugin free content. This means you can run the courses on your desktop or on your iPad, which ever suits you best.

Is Perform SCORM Compliant?

Perform is SCORM 1.2 and AICC compliant and has been tested in a multitude eLearning platforms and Learning Management Systems.

I have a new Theme in .PTheme format, how do I use it?

This is quite simple, first we have to make sure the Theme is in the correct format as it may have been zipped for ease of sending. Find the Theme and confirm it is in PTheme format, if it is a Zip file first extract it to a location of your choice.

To import the PTheme, open Perform and display the ‘Starting Window’. Select ‘Manage Themes’ and click the ‘Import’ button. Browse for your theme and click ‘Open’. The Theme will now be imported and ready to use.

My LMS opens my Perform course in the same window and closing the course shuts down my LMS, how can I prevent this?

A Perform course will shut the browser window it is in when closed. To prevent this, check the “Windowless” option in the “Publish” dialog. This option will force the course to open in its own window.

The last question of my Perform Assessment cannot be answered because the ‘Next or Confirm’ button is disabled, how can I resolve this?

Assessments need a Result Slide to be completed. You can either add a custom slide to the end of the Assessment slides, or use the Built-in Result Slides by enabling ‘Result Slides’ in the ‘Course Properties’ window.

Can I change the Slide Size after I have started a course?

Yes, the slide size is defined by the Theme you use. By using the ‘Change Theme’ settings, you can apply a new Theme with a different slide size. Please note that the content of the slide will not be moved, so you may need to reposition slide content after a retheme.

How do I add a hyperlink to text or an image?

Unlike traditional hyperlinks within a Text Editor, Perform uses an “Interaction Property” to add links to slide items. Select the slide item and navigate to ‘Interactions / Mouse Click Interactions’. From this window you can add a number of ‘Actions’ from the dropdown list, one of which is the Hyperlink option.
