CheckPoint is a powerful, robust, scaleable and easy to use learning management system that can be easily utilised to create a results-driven platform for delivering online learning resources and training.

It can be used to deliver Jenison’s generic resources, resources developed in Perform, resources developed in other authoring tools, including Articulate and Captivate, and also resources purchased from other generic eLearning providers.

Admin features

  • Centralised administration and elearning resource tracking facility: allows trainers to monitor and assess student
    performance and resource usage.
  • Easy-to-use interface: allows trainers to control access to resources and allocate security privileges.
  • Ability to group and report on users activity and trends: including time online & test results,
  • Respond to emerging new learning needs by quickly allocating staff new resources and removing completed resources.
  • Can be used to deliver Jenison resources, courses authored in Perform along with third party courses.
  • Manage users and groups: learners can be separated geographically into branches, departments, locations etc., or by skills level in relation to role, competency or grade.
  • Groups of users can be assigned unique portfolios of learning to reflect their needs in relation to a competency framework, skills matrix or profile established through an appraisal or PDP.
  • Reports can be produced using the existing report template or designed using the pick and mix facility in CheckPoint.
  • Report filter enables incomplete courses to be highlighted to users in order for them to be completed.
  • Expiry date feature enables administrator to set time available for users to undertake resources.
  • Key Courses features can highlight staff which 3 courses should be undertaken as a priority.
  • Reporting on custom fields enables administrators to create new filters that relate to their business and then in turn report on
    them.

 

Provides a simple way for learners to locate and launch courses and then track their own progress as they learn.

  • Unobtrusive and, crucially, very easy to use as a means of accessing learning resources.
  • My Courses tab provides collapsible top level summary of resources available to student that when expanded shows progress
    against allocated resources.
  • My Learning Record provides learners with more comprehensive breakdown of progress and activity versus resources along
    with certificates and test results versus resources.
  • Self-sign up feature enables staff to quickly and easily get online and learning.
  • Add to Favourites feature enables student to earmark resources of particular use or importance to them.
  • Course Search feature enables student to ‘fast forward’ to specific resources available to them.
